Dr. Carrie A. Landis

  Dr. Landis is a clinical audiologist with over 14 years of experience. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders (Speech Language Pathology & Audiology) in 1999 from Worcester State College, her Masters of Science from Southern Connecticut State University in 2002 and later went on to earn her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree at A.T Still University/School of Health Sciences in 2012.

During her enrollment at Southern Connecticut University, she gained a wealth of clinical experience in settings such as various ENT clinics, Yale New Haven Hospital and private practices.

Dr. Landis is competent with many complex audiological profiles and disorders of the auditory system. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech Language & Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed to practice in the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Dr. Landis specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus, as well as the latest hearing instrument and assistive listening technology. She has special interests in noise-induced hearing loss, aural rehabilitation, and presbycusis. She is experienced with patient populations ranging from children to adults.

Dr. Landis enjoys cooking, camping, four-wheeling, fishing, crafts and spending time with her family. She lives in Massachusetts with her three children.

The Greater New Bedford Surgical and Laser Center

The Greater New Bedford Surgical and Laser Center was opened in 1986 with the express purpose of rendering high quality, state of the art eye surgery to patients of all ages, especially those with cataracts, glaucoma, or cornea disease. The Center is designed specifically with the needs of the patient in mind. The entire process from initial examination to final outcome is conducted in a pleasant comfortable environment.

After a patient decides to have surgery, he or she is assigned his or her own Surgical Counselor who is available to answer questions and provide assistance. These individuals are specially trained to assist the patient throughout the entire surgical experience, including follow up care for as long as necessary. Patients are encouraged to contact their counselor for any questions, no matter how simple or complex.
