For many years,
the Eye Doctors at Eye Health Vision Centers have serviced
the emergency medical needs of patients who unexpectedly
experience an eye emergency on a “walk-in” basis,
without any appointment. In fact, the practice routinely
treats more than 4,500 walk-in medical emergencies annually
at its five practice locations. Different types
of emergencies that occur routinely include the following:
- Infections
- Foreign bodies
- Corneal abrasions
- Flashes and Floaters
- Welder's flash
- Trauma
- Sudden decreased vision
- Eye pain
- Lost / broken glasses
- Chemical burns
- Allergic reactions
If you, or a loved one, experiences an eye emergency during
our regular office hours, feel free to come right in to
be seen right away by an eye doctor. It’s a
good idea to call us first to let us know you’re on
the way in, but if that’s not possible, just come
right in. |
