Is blepharoplasty surgery painful?
There is usually no pain during the actual procedure. Most patients experience mild discomfort after surgery, but there is rarely severe or extended pain.

Will I have black and blue eyes after surgery?
Bruising following surgery is normal and lasts about 2-3 days. However, you can greatly minimize the appearance of bruises by applying ice packs after surgery.

Will my insurance pay for the procedure?
If your field of vision is impaired due to drooping eyelids, insurance usually covers the procedure. However, purely cosmetic surgery is rarely covered. Check with your insurance carrier to find out about their policies.

How much will blepharoplasty cost?
