FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
FAQS ~ Eye Glasses

How long does it take to get a pair of glasses?
Most single vision prescriptions can be filled within an hour. Bifocals and progressives (no line bifocals) take longer, depending upon the prescription.

How much do glasses cost?
We have complete pairs of frame and lenses starting as low as $89.00 to 99.99 for single vision, $99.00 to 109.00 for bifocal and $149.00-159.00 for progressive (no-line bifocal).

Do your lenses have a "UV" coating?
All of our premium lenses packages include ultra violet 400 coating at no additional cost.

Do you carry Transitions lenses - the lenses that darken outdoors?
Yes, we carry Transitions lenses in stock and these lenses are readily available in most prescriptions. Transitions lenses darken in sunlight and lighten indoors.

In what colors are Transitions available?
Transitions are available in gray and brown in most prescriptions.

How much does it cost to tint my current eyeglasses into sunglasses?
With every new complete pair of eyeglasses that are purchased, Eye Heath Vision Centers will tint your existing eyeglasses free of charge.

Do you carry contact lenses?
Yes. Our doctors offer a wide variety of contact lenses, from the most common to the most difficult prescriptions.

Do you carry "thin and light" lenses?
Yes, we offer the most advanced lenses available today.  A variety of these lenses are more often thinner and lighter lenses that dramatically reduce the thickness of your lenses by at least a third.

Do you have those frames that bend and twist?
Yes, we carry the "Autoflex" and "Accuflex" frames. These special frames are made of a nickel and titanium combination which make them virtually indestructible and very lightweight.

What is "Vejo" ?
"Vejo" is Eye Health Vision Centers’ own unique private label frames. These frames are made by our European designers and offer many of the same features and benefits of those high priced designer frames at $80 to $100 less.

What type of insurance plans do you accept for eyeglasses?
We accept nearly all major insurances. In most cases, if we do not accept a particular type of insurance for eyeglasses, we have a substitute discount.

Do you make eyeglasses for children?
Yes, all of our children’s eyeglasses are packaged priced for a substantial savings to parents. We only use "polycarbonate" lenses for children, which are light weight and one of the most durable and impact resistant lens materials on the planet.

Do you offer any kind of guarantee or warranty on your eyeglasses?
Yes, we provide a 30-day unconditional guarantee on all of our eyeglasses. We also offer an optional one-year "Peace of Mind Protection Plan", which enables you to replace your glasses at 50% of the normal retail price if you accidentally break or damage your glasses.
