What kind of insurance do you accept?
We accept almost every conceivable insurance that's offered in this area. However, there are some rare and unique plans out there that we aren't familiar with. It's always best to check with our office or your insurance carrier if you're not certain. Also, some insurance companies differentiate between a "routine" eye exam and a "medical" eye exam. Your insurance coverage may depend on the type of exam you are requesting.

Does my insurance require a "referral" from my primary care physician?
Every insurance plan is different....and they change their rules all the time, and they're introducing new plans all the time. If you call the office, we will do our best to answer your question with the most updated information we have available. However, it's always safest to call the insurance company first.

How much does it cost for an eye exam?
This can vary from as low as $50 to as high as $162, depending upon the type of exam required for your particular needs. The vast majority of patients have health insurance which covers the cost of their exam, except for a small "co-pay".
