What is LASIK?

LASIK corrects vision by reshaping the cornea (outer window of the eye) so that light rays focus more precisely on the retina, thereby reducing or eliminating refractive errors.

LASIK Surgery Dartmouth

Fast, safe, comfortable and effective, LASIK can reduce or even eliminate a lifetime of dependence on glasses and contact lenses for patients with nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism. At our Dartmouth location, LASIK is performed using the VISX S4 IR™ Excimer laser to correct all types and degrees of refractive errors. The procedure is all laser and blade less as the corneal flap is also created with an ultra accurate and safe femtosecond laser.  All pre-operative and post-operative testing and exams are done at our North Dartmouth offices as well. We use the Visx S4 IR™ Excimer laser, which is superior in its ability to correct severe refractive errors.

What Our Patients Say About Us - Hear From Real Patients

"When I first considered LASIK, I intended to go to my local Ophthalmologist in NH, who my family have been patients of for years. Based upon the recommendation of a co-worker, however, I accepted a "FREE EVALUATION" by Dr. Kenneth R. Kenyon in Dartmouth, MA. When I was evaluated by Dr. Kenyon, I was so impressed with his credentials, experience and expertise, that I realized I had arrived at the "right place." Dr. Kenyon performed my LASIK 10 days ago, and I'm now convinced that I made the right decision. By the day after surgery, I was seeing 20/20. I now experience the world with vivid clarity and textures unlike anything I've ever experienced in my life. Dr. Kenyon's amazing talent and experience as a LASIK surgeon gave me the comfort level I needed to have this procedure, and I'm thrilled that I did."

"My experience at Eye Health Vision Center was exceptional from the Pre-Op to the Post-Op. The staff was professional and knowledgeable. They made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this procedure to anyone who wants to improve their quality of life. Thank you to all the LASIK staff at Eye Health Vision Center for changing my life!”
