
The internationally known Transitions Optical Corporation
today named Dr. Stephen F. Sullivan, M.D. and Eye Health
Vision Center of Dartmouth, MA their national "Eyecare
Practice of the Quarter." Annually, only four
practices receive this honor, and in March 2000 at the
National Vision Expo Meeting in NYC, one of these practices
will be designated "Eyecare Practice of the Year." Transitions
Optical is the world's leading manufacturer of photochromatic
plastic spectacle lenses, which adapt to sunlight by darkening
outdoors and lightening indoors.
This distinguished award recognizes the innovative marketing
concepts along with customer service, and incentive programs
created and implemented by Eye Health. It also acknowledges
the tremendous growth of the practice and its professional
staff over the past two years as well as the outstanding
patient education programs created and offered at Eye Health. To
earn this award, Dr. Sullivan and his Chief Development
Officer, H. Jay Carney implemented an innovative lens package
pricing system to help facilitate the efficient customized
sale of a pair of glasses to their clients. The lens
package pricing groups various high-end optional optical
features such as High-Index, Transitions Lenses, UV, Polarization
filters and scratch resistant and Antireflective coatings
offered in simple to understand package groups custom fit
to meet the needs and budget of the client.
Transitions honored Dr. Sullivan and Mr. Carney for Eye
Health's growth, innovation, quality of service, and implementation
of their successful marketing strategies at a special award
presentation on September 15th at their N. Dartmouth store. As
the quarterly winner, the practice received a $1,000 cash
award. Additionally, Dr. Sullivan and five representatives
from Eye Health will attend Vision Expo 2000 in March at
New York City's Javits Center, where the "Eyecare Practice
of the Year" award will be announced. The yearly
winner receives a $10,000 award. |
