Leonardo J. Velázquez, MD graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He completed his research fellowship for glaucoma at Tufts University School of Medicine's New England Eye Center. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical School of Houston and his internal medicine internship at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Dr. Velázquez has been with Eye Health Vision Centers since July of 2005 and practices in our Dartmouth and Taunton offices. He specializes in general ophthalmology, cataract surgery and Glaucoma Laser Surgery. His is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Medical Association.
